Providing the necessary training for all those involved in the process, supervising the provision of technical support for distance education programs, and developing the necessary software for the content of educational materials as well as lecture recording systems, while making them available to students through various digital channels, in accordance with the best quality standards and practices in managing educational content and e-learning. Regarding the second track, which is information technology, the deanship is working to enhance the concept of corporate architecture governance by developing and operating digital services and applications that support the automation and improvement of procedures and services of the university sectors, with the aim of providing a satisfactory digital experience for all beneficiaries. The deanship is also working to develop easy-to-use and reliable digital services. And sustainable. This requires enhancing the work of linking and exchanging data between the university and other government agencies, as well as internal integration between all the university’s systems and services, with the management of the digital infrastructure and the communications systems it includes, network connectivity, server management, and cybersecurity systems.
Work is also being done to raise the level of awareness of digital culture for university employees and students through developing publications and introductory guides and holding awareness workshops that support beneficiaries in making optimal use of the university’s technical resources. With the aim of achieving leadership and creativity at the level of government agencies, the deanship works in coordination with all relevant authorities at the university to continuously improve the university’s digital transformation system, whose performance is measured annually through the Digital Government Authority.
