In line with the university's commitment to serving its personnel at all academic, administrative, and social levels, the university established the Deanship of Faculty Affairs on 21/6/1418H to provide various services, procedures, and financial and administrative transactions for its members. The deanship serves as the executive and procedural arm of all university sectors, playing a vital role through its various units in the administrative operations that achieve the objectives of these sectors. On 4/6/1441H, a decision was issued by the esteemed President of the University to restructure the university and rename the deanship to the Deanship of Human Resources, contributing to enhancing performance efficiency and achieving quality and excellence in all services provided to university personnel through the administration's departments and units. According to Cabinet Resolution No. 412 dated 17/6/1441H regarding the cancellation of monitoring units in government agencies and transferring the supervision of employee attendance to the General Administration of Human Resources, a decision was issued by the esteemed President of the University on 13/2/1442H to transfer the activity of monitoring employee attendance to the Deanship of Human Resources by establishing a special unit for this purpose. On 5/7/1445H, the esteemed President of the University issued a decision for the comprehensive restructuring of King Faisal University, which included changing the name of the Deanship of Faculty Affairs to the General Administration of Human Resources.
