Exam Instructions for Preparatory Year Students
-
All exams are held in the Preparatory Year General Administration building, for male students, Building (27), and for female students, Building (43).
-
The student must show the original national ID or residence permit.
-
The student must adhere to the hall and the time specified for him/her to take the exam, which will be shown in the exam schedule. The student will not be allowed to enter the exam hall if he/she is 20 minutes late for the exam.
-
The student is obligated to bring a bag in which he/she places all his belongings and place the bag in the front of the hall.
-
If the student brings electronic devices, he/she must turn them off and put them in the bag. The student bears full responsibility in the event of their loss, noting that taking out the devices during the exam is considered a case of attempted cheating that requires referral to the disciplinary committee.
-
The student must remain quiet inside the test hall and wait until permission to leave is granted.
-
Saudi students must adhere to the official Saudi dress (thobe and ghutra or shemagh), and female students must adhere to what is stated in the organizational guide for the general appearance of female employees and students at King Faisal University. A male or female student will not be allowed to enter the exam if he or she does not adhere to this.
-
The student must adhere to any other instructions dictated by the Examinations Committee in the administration, which are announced through the website, portal and official communication channels.
-
In the event that the student does not adhere to the instructions, this may lead to him/her being denied entry to the exam or being excluded from the exam hall.
-
All excuses for absence from exams for any reason are submitted electronically only through the Preparatory Year Portal.
