Overview of the Scholarship Department
King Faisal University, under the guidance and attention of the University President, Prof. Adel bin Mohammed Abuzenadah, and the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Issa Al Lily, has placed great importance on scholarships. Based on this priority, the Scholarship Department was established to handle all matters related to scholarships and scholars. It serves university-sponsored students both domestically and abroad.
This establishment followed the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Education for the study that proposed a restructuring of the university’s organizational structure. The study included amendments and additions to various university sectors, including the establishment of the Scholarship Department, which is affiliated with the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. This decision was made during the university council’s second session, held on 23/2/1441 AH. Mr. Abdullah bin Mansour binsaleh was appointed as the department director, reporting directly to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
Vision
To provide distinguished services and support to the university’s scholarship recipients through the use of modern administrative practices and advanced technology, and to assist them in securing admission to prestigious local and international universities. This will contribute to preparing outstanding academic staff who will enhance excellence in education and scientific research at the university.

To enhance the efficiency and speed of administrative procedures related to scholarships by implementing advanced administrative technologies.
To activate and strengthen communication between the university and its scholars through modern communication tools.
To monitor the status of university-sponsored students by reviewing periodic academic reports.
To provide scholars with essential information about accredited universities.
