Executive Subcommittee of the Permanent Committee for International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange
The committee is responsible for the following tasks:
Proposing the general policy for international cooperation and knowledge exchange at the university and following up on its implementation.
Preparing an operational plan for international cooperation and knowledge exchange at the university.
Establishing a mechanism to continuously evaluate international cooperation and knowledge exchange at the university according to the current, operational and future status.
Follow up on procedures for concluding agreements with international scientific bodies and institutions.
Supervising the follow-up of international research projects to ensure international quality standards in the field of joint research.
Reviewing memorandums of understanding, agreements, and service contracts with universities and international institutions.
Following up on the university’s international activities in coordination with other sectors of the university (faculties - deanships - research centers - departments).
Reviewing requests from university entities to attract visiting professors of scholars, researchers, and distinguished individuals to participate in university programs.
Evaluating the necessary models for the conduct of international cooperation and knowledge exchange at the university.
Proposing rules and organizational foundations related to the university’s visiting professors program.
Studying topics related to the work of international cooperation affairs and knowledge exchange at the university.
Follow up on the recommendations of the work of the Permanent Committee for International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange and provide the committee with the necessary reports.
The committee forms work teams from its members when necessary to conduct its work.
Recommending referring what needs to be referred to the Permanent Committee for International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange to take the necessary action.
The committee contacts the relevant authorities inside and outside the university to facilitate the tasks assigned to it.
Studying topics referred to it by the Permanent Committee for International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange.
