In this block students acquire necessary knowledge skills and attitude in Obstetrics/ Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, neonatology, related ethics and legal issues and oncology. Our department teach gynecological part of the block.• During the block consultation is first practiced during consultation sessions (similar to small PBL groups in the previous blocks) as role play among the students themselves and training for clinical examination techniques on manikins, then on a simulated patient, and finally with an encounter with a real patient at a health facility (= bedside teaching). • By completion of the course the student should be able to do consultation skills (history taking, physical examination, communication, clinical reasoning, and treatment advice, related ethics and legal issues) and attitudes that will enable them to: · Integrate basic science knowledge (anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology), theoretical clinical knowledge, clinical and communication skills during clinical practice. · undergoes a complete (professional) medical consultation in the following specialties which directly deal maternal and child health and proper sexual and reproductive functioning:1.
