The quality unit must be distinguished in controlling the level of quality of services provided through management and continuous development of the services provided, developing the performance of employees, increasing production, and reducing errors, to gain the trust of all customers.

Support Services Unit
Overall goal:
The administration’s support services unit should be distinguished in the field of strategies according to the administrative and operational aspects, preparing it for work and following up with colleges, departments, research centers, departments and units at the university.

Establishing policies and objectives for the Support Services Unit.
Follow up and complete all procedures related to the administration according to the authorities.
Identifying the research infrastructure needs of departments, units, and research centers at the university, and working to provide them.
Supervising all work related to support services.
Coordinating with the competent authorities within the university regarding the administrative, technical and service aspects and following up on their requirements within the administration, colleges and research centres.
Supervising all practices related to (maintenance, security, safety, and technical support) in the management of central laboratories, colleges, research centers, and the research and training station.
Providing consultations, studies, and services to various entities, whether within the university, government agencies, institutions, companies, or individuals, and supervising their organization and implementation.
Proposing courses, programs, training workshops, seminars and conferences related to laboratories and coordinating their establishment.
Follow up on the implementation of agreements concluded between the administration and other parties.
Contributing to the establishment, operation and maintenance of laboratories, research units and facilities.
Identifying potential partners with the aim of establishing strategic partnerships.
Supervising the preparation of plans for building strategic partnerships with a number of parties inside and outside the university.
Drawing the framework and boundaries of partnership relationships in a way that achieves mutual benefit and provides added value to all parties.
Contributing to the implementation of memorandums of understanding and agreements between the administration and other governmental and non-governmental agencies in accordance with the plan drawn up by the unit.
Preparing reports on the unit’s achievement rates and submitting them to the general supervisor of the department.

Digital management unit for laboratories
Overall goal:
To be a digital control and monitoring unit for all operations.
mission:
Measuring the efficiency of performance indicators (KPI) through the electronic program (LIMS) for all target parties in the following points:A. Consumption rate of chemicals, biological materials, laboratory and medical supplies b. Rate of efficiency of use of research devices and auxiliary laboratory devices. C. Efficiency and effectiveness of productivity for workers inside centers and laboratories. Dr.. Measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of support services for research centers and laboratories.
Making the services provided by the Central Laboratories Department available through the electronic portal for legal entities and individuals
Contributing to the preparation of unified purchase requests for laboratory equipment and supplies based on performance indicators of use and consumption.

Research laboratories and laboratory services unit
Overall goal:
The Research Laboratories and Laboratory Services Unit is considered one of the vital units that contribute effectively to supporting scientific research and providing laboratory services to various college departments, research centers and beneficiary entities in order to enhance the quality of scientific research and technological development in multiple fields. The unit includes several specialized departments, including chemical and physical research laboratories, electron microscopes, life sciences research laboratories, and bioinformatics.

Providing analytical services to researchers and students in various chemical, physical, biological, informational, and environmental fields.
Developing and implementing modern methods and technologies in various fields to meet the needs of scientific research and industrial applications.
Supervising the use and maintenance of precise and ultra-precise analytical equipment and ensuring the quality of analytical results.
Providing technical consultations and expertise in various fields to researchers and external beneficiaries.
Organizing workshops and training courses in various fields to develop the skills of researchers, students and beneficiaries.
Providing the necessary infrastructure and equipment to conduct biological, molecular and cellular experiments and analyses.

Research laboratories unit
It is a unit emanating from the central laboratory administration and is managed by the head of the unit and the deputy supervisor. The unit is considered the link between the beneficiaries and those in charge of operating the equipment in the central laboratories. The unit seeks to provide the best service to beneficiaries and work to make the most of all the university’s capabilities. The administration relies on a number of technicians who specialize in working in various research centers and who have received training courses in the same specialty.

Receiving and delivering the university’s laboratory equipment, equipment, and chemicals after examining them, matching them with their documents, and recording them in the administration’s official warehouse records.
Preserving the stored items and arranging them in the locations designated for them according to their characteristics and types, as well as numbering them according to their numbers in the records in the Equipment and Chemicals Unit.
Establishing mechanisms for dealing with various laboratories in terms of dispensing chemicals and methods of handling them.
Facilitating the tasks of official inventory committees, assisting them, and providing them with data and documents.
Follow up on the availability of materials and operating supplies and work to fill the deficit.

Technical personnel unit
It is a unit emanating from the Central Laboratories Administration and is responsible for supervising the distribution of technicians, benefiting from their capabilities, and training them in a way that contributes to reducing waste in the university’s human resources.

This unit undertakes the following tasks:
Determine the colleges’ needs for trained technical personnel.
Supervising the distribution of technicians according to the needs of the colleges.
Develop a systematic plan to train technicians and faculty members to provide cadres capable of working on research equipment.
Creating an electronic library (video and audio) that allows trainees to review courses or view the most important points contained in the course before starting the training course.
Preparing periodic reports and statistics requested by the central laboratories administration.
Carrying out all the tasks assigned to it by the central laboratories administration or the university’s senior management.
