Advisory Board consisting of the Centre at least five members, to be two thirds of the members of this body from outside the university, two of whom at least well-known as experts in the field of specialization at the global level, as well as Director of the Centre.

They are:

1.    The director of the Palms and dates Research Center.

2.    Dr. Abd ELwahab Zayed, the general coordinator of the international network of the dates palms in the UAE University.

3.    Mr. Michel Ferry, the scientific director of the palms research center in Spain.

4.    Dr. Muhammad Basary wahed, director of the Malaysian institute of palm oil.

5.    Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Hamdan, from King Saud University.

6.    Dr. Hassan Muzammil Ali Dinar of the FAO expert in the Kingdom

The advisory board functions include:

1.    Recommendations on linking the Centre with expertise in the area of outstanding universal work of the Centre

2.    Guidance of the Centre with regard to operational and strategic plans

3.    To make observations and recommendations on enhancing the performance of the center's scientific, and researchers

4.    Study the issues referred to it by the Board of Directors
