Electrical Engineering Program
The Electrical Engineering Program was established in
2008-2009 according to high national and international standards. It has since then attracted excellent faculty
members with mixed background from academia and industry, along with high
quality students. This has enabled the
program to play a major role in the technological advancement of this region
and the welfare of its community.
Currently,
the department offers an undergraduate program that leads to a B.S. Degree in
Electrical Engineering. We are regularly assessing our program with a systematic
feedback from the students and alumni, the department's external team of
industrial experts, faculty and industry employers. Although it has only been two years since our
first batch of students has graduated, we are constantly getting encouraging
feedback from the employers.
The program
has come a long way in applying for the ABET accreditation and it has been
awarded the ABET-EAC Accreditation through September 2021. This is due to the dedication of the program faculty members and students and the
support of the university and the College of Engineering in particular.
