Biology section: In the year 1414 Biology section was opened, i.e. after two years of opening the faculty to provide different specialties in the section, and to prepare cadres of efficient  teachers, qualified educationally and scientifically to bear given to them responsibility for educating generations being reserve for our dear country. Biology section now includes (550) students under the supervision of twenty members of the teaching staff and assistants. Students of Biology section can obtain support services, which are:

1. Library: by internal and external borrowing, where the number of references has reached (8574) Arabic references and (285) foreign references and a number of (350) Arabic periodicals and (22) foreign periodicals. 

2. Bookshop: includes stationery and copier to serve students.

3. Laboratories: Biology section includes three laboratories: laboratory (1), (4), (studies laboratory) and laboratory (5) which is a study hall. Also supplement of laboratory (1) and laboratories (2),( 3) under renovation.

4. Herbarium: D. Ietdal Higazy, Dean of the Faculty opened it in the year 1424/25H. It is vegetarian environment includes different samples.
