    1. Review and recommend faculty related policies.
    2. Complete faculty development needs assessment and report to the heads of the Nursing and Public Health Departments on an annual basis.
    3. Design and develop faculty development plan based upon the faculty needs assessment.
    4. Advise the heads of the departments of issues, concerns, and recommended change related to faculty matters.
    5. Assist in the orientation of all new full time and adjunct faculty.
    6. Facilitate mentoring relationships between senior faculty to mentoring roles with new full time and adjunct faculty.
      7. Develop and review faculty handbook annually.
    7. Put in place peer observation and review systems.
      8. Coordinate with DAD, KFU to facilitate faculty participation in DAD organized programs ; and to propose DAD for organization of programs according to needs of the faculty.
    8. Facilitate and organize faculty participation in professional development programs ​outside KFU.
