Program mission
The Department of English Language seeks to provide its students with quality education in the fields of English language, linguistics, literature and translation studies. It also strives to have its students attain language proficiency, as well as the academic and professional skills conducive to their success in the labor market.
Program goals
The English Language Program derives its goals from the general orientation and objectives of the College of Arts (Al-Ahsa). They are as follows:
1.To provide quality education in the English language, linguistics, literature and translation studies.
2- To produce competent graduates with effective language and communication skills to satisfy the needs of the labor market.
3- To offer language programs to the community which contribute to its development in all fields that require competent language specialists.
