Master of Veterinary Anatomy

The department provides a master's program of Veterinary Anatomy in the field of developmental anatomy and optic anatomy, cell biology, chemistry of the cell, tissue science, and science of physiology. The program aims at training and preparation of scientific cadres in the field of developmental anatomy and optic anatomy, cell biology, chemistry of the cell, tissue science, and science of  physiology, by introducing modern technology and scientific research methods in planning, analysis and recording the results of research projects for them.

 
The program requires that the applicant should have a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine with a grade not less than very good. And in some cases, according to the recommendation of the department councel and the approval of the faculty, the student who obtained a good grade may be accepted but with some conditions. If the study of bachelor’s student was not in English, he will be asked to have an exam in that language and in case that he does not pass this exam, he will be required to enroll in an intensive language program provided by the university. The student must complete all courses with a grade of not less than very good, in addition to submitting a scientific thesis in the field of his specialization.

The program consists of courses and thesis, 31-hours for courses, including 23 hours of obligatory courses, and complete the rest of the optional courses. Its duration is two-year minimum for the full time student and three years minimum for the part-time student .
