The College of Agricultural and Food sciences is one of the colleges that was created to be an outstanding scientifically monument service to various university faculties. To see King Faisal University’s vision we are keen to achieve in instilling confidence in our students .On the other hand, feeding necessary culture to meet the challenges in this era. Our ambition and our thoughts are racing to achieve our noble aim to develop and enhance the status of this prestigious college, a joint venture between college’s employee faculty and staff and our duty is to care for our students and urge them to achieve the highest level and raise the level of education at the college because education is a national project and the duty of us all.

About the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences

The College of Agricultural and Food Sciences was established with the beginning of the university in 1395 / 1975 and began the actual study in college in the fall of 1395 for students and the fall of 1398 for female students.

College’s vision

 That the College was instrumental in achieving excellence and leadership in teaching, scientific research and community service in agricultural field as part of cultural values, moral and social.

 College’s Message

The acquisition of students learning and research skills within the system of modern knowledge in the various specialties of agricultural and the ability for competition, innovation  and self-learning and the competition in the labor market and enhancing college’s contribution in economic and social development through the development of the agricultural sector and scientific progress and environmental protection.                                              

College’s Objectives

1 .The Development of cognitive, mental ,creative  skills and communication among students through a combination of theoretical and practical studies and training to graduate  professional persons  for the advancement of the national agricultural sector and qualifying  graduate students.

2. To develop scientific programs at college in the light of contemporary scientific trends as well as self-interest and continuous learning

3. To establish and implement scientific plans to solve the current agricultural problems with the latest scientific, environmental protection and community service.

4. The consolidation of the cooperative relationship with agricultural enterprises, public and private sector and activate the practical communication with research centers that are relevant to local and global levels
