Praise is to God and prayer, peace is upon the Master of the prophets and messengers. Having said that, I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the sections of female students at the King Faisal University within a site
The female students sections has started to establish the first department for the education of female students which is the department of home economics in the college of agricultural sciences and food (agriculture college at this time) in the fall of 1977. i.e three years after the establishment of the university, this reflects how much are the responsible keen on providing the chances and opportunities for women in the university life from the very beginning. And all through the thirty years that followed the establishment of the university, the female students sections has gone through various phases of quantitative and qualitative development till the number of students in these departments reached now 6000 students in 8 different colleges which are: college of agricultural sciences and food, college of education, college of science, college of medicine in Alehsaa, college of clinical pharmacy, college of computer sciences and information technology, college of administrative sciences and planning and college of applied studies and community service. This required an expansion in supportive operations like the admission and registration deanship, graduate studies deanship, student affairs deanship and library affairs deanship.
Recently, the university has formed some administrations that serve the expansion in female students sections like female employees affairs administration, staff affairs administration, financial affairs and purchases administration. Maintenance of public services administration and public relations administration, as for buildings, its number increased lately to be 7 buildings in the section designed for female students. This would have never been achieved without Allah' Almighty satisfaction, then the keenness of the esteemed administration of the university on providing all the ways that would help in developing the sections of female students in the university.
As bout the vision of the female students sections, it is derived from the vision of the university that was established to serve science, knowledge, scientific research and community,
