Introduction

No one can deny the importance of university programs such as diplomas and bachelor's degrees, but the true identity of academic institutions lies in the postgraduate programs they offer. Conducting research to generate knowledge and connecting theoretical foundations with practical applications are the real reasons behind the existence and excellence of leading universities worldwide. These goals cannot be achieved without original research, as postgraduate programs provide momentum and workforce for research and development efforts. The postgraduate programs at the college support and serve the academic community through ideas, innovations, and research presented at national and international conferences and published in prestigious scientific journals, which enhances the global ranking of the department and the university.

There are many reasons for offering the proposed master’s programs from various departments of the college, but the most important lies in the vast amount of knowledge expected to be produced from the research, which will be a key part of fulfilling the requirements of these programs. The research track of the programs includes a requirement of 9 academic units for the thesis and 9 academic units for the graduation project in the coursework track. Additionally, each course requires conducting small research projects within the same field the course covers.

After the college has gained experience and maturity in offering bachelor's programs in Information Systems and Computer Science for a considerable period, it now has another goal: to offer postgraduate programs aimed at attracting individuals working in IT-related jobs who aspire to increase their theoretical knowledge and enhance their skills after gaining experience in their professional fields. The college has also achieved a high standard of teaching quality and provides the necessary resources, including human resources and infrastructure such as labs equipped with the latest devices, and spacious classrooms fitted with the latest teaching technologies, presentations, and tools that enhance interaction between faculty and students.
