Transfer requests between departments within the College of Applied Medical Sciences are accepted during the fourth week of each semester through the Banner system. The transfer conditions are as follows:
Transfer Conditions to the Public Health Department:
The student's cumulative GPA at the time of transfer should not be less than 3.5 out of 5.
The student desiring to transfer should have obtained a minimum grade of B in courses related to Public Health in the current department.
The student must undergo a personal interview conducted by the department's management.
Any other conditions specified by the department council apply.
Transfer Conditions to the Nursing Department:
The student's cumulative GPA at the time of transfer should not be less than 4.5 out of 5.
The student desiring to transfer should have obtained a minimum grade of B in courses related to Nursing in the current department.
The student must undergo a personal interview conducted by the department's management.
Any other conditions specified by the department council apply.
Transfer Conditions to the Clinical Nutrition Department:
The student's cumulative GPA at the time of transfer should not be less than 3.75 out of 5.
The student desiring to transfer should have obtained a minimum grade of B in courses related to Clinical Nutrition in the current department.
The student must undergo a personal interview conducted by the department's management.
Any other conditions specified by the department council apply.
Transfer Conditions to the Health Informatics Department:
The student's cumulative GPA at the time of transfer should not be less than 4.33 out of 5.
The student desiring to transfer should have obtained a minimum grade of B in courses related to Health Informatics in the current department.
The student must undergo a personal interview conducted by the department's management.
Any other conditions specified by the department council apply.
Note: Meeting the aforementioned conditions does not guarantee acceptance of the transfer request.
