The Training and Internship Unit was established to foster and enhance the capabilities of students through valuable
and recognized training opportunities, both nationally and internationally, in alignment with
the commitment of the College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Faisal University. Clinical training encompasses
hands-on experience in healthcare institutions under the supervision of
faculty members during the academic years, in addition to a mandatory internship year as a fundamental requirement
for graduation. The unit strives to improve and develop future training experiences for healthcare practitioners in Saudi Arabia,
enhancing skill proficiency by diversifying training experiences to prepare students for efficient work across various specialized fields. Moreover, it aims to facilitate training tasks and eliminate any obstacles faced by trainees.
The unit's efforts in clinical training and internship rely significantly on enhancing and activating mechanisms for collaboration with
our partners in healthcare institutions concerning clinical training and internship programs.
