A seminar on the role of the “Commission of information technology and knowledge management  ” in promoting our college and proceed with the development work of the College and transform it into a computerised electronic system was held on 23-October-2011at 10.30Am inside the ‘Moosa Ibn Shaaker Hall’ in the COE building.

Among the most prominent events for this symposium was to provide a detailed view of the importance of College Face book page which would be  active and effective means of communication as those of several aspects of the scientific, social, cultural and others for students and faculty members .

One of the most important comments made by the Dean HE Dr. Abdulmohsen Alarfaj is : “ In the College We believe in the importance of knowledge capital, sharing ideas and opinions. Students and others should benefit from it. We look forward to interact all the students with the Commission and provide them with their proposals development  and promise to do everything in our power to achieve their desires and aspirations”.

The other important topic discussed  in this meeting was the “Black board(Bb)- service” which will help the  academics and students to communicate easily with each other, using this property the   instructor can publish all subjects and material related to the course to  enable student to review it and downloading the important subjects and to exchange date between them in electronic way.

On the other hand, the committee discussed the missions and duties of the IT committee and introduced a description of the benefits of   converting information from being written to be electronic data which make getting the information more easier  and flexible.
